About

Georgetown is located off W. Adams Rd. approximately one mile west of Wigwam Hollow Rd.  It is situated in Emmett Township, McDonough County, Macomb, IL.  We are comprised of the homeowners of 204 beautiful townhomes with an abundance of common area for residents to enjoy.  Amenities for our community include an Olympic size pool, tennis courts, an extensive playground area, dog park,  and a Clubhouse.

Georgetown was incorporated on September 8, 1970 and townhomes were constructed by Waller Brothers.  Townhomes were built in the 1970’s with the most recent additions added in 1996.  Residents retained ownership of the association, common areas and the lagoon sewer system on November 2, 1987.  The Clubhouse is partly a replica of the Williamsburg Governor’s Mansion and the townhomes are reminiscence of the colonial era.   Fifty-six townhomes have one or two car garages and the others have parking conveniently located in front of their townhomes.

Georgetown employs a grounds manager with a crew and an office manager to assist residents, maintain the common area and amenities and attend to the association’s business.

Georgetown is a wonderful community to live and play!
